Terms of Use
Revision of: 1 September 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the provision and use of EdoLine, a cloud-based electronic document management service available by subscription over the Internet (the “Service”). The rights holder and operator of the Service is MCHJ EDOC (the “Provider” or the “Company”).
By registering an account, taking out a subscription or otherwise starting to use the Service, the User (the “Client” or the “User”) confirms that they have read these Terms and accept them in full.
1. Subject Matter and Service Delivery Model
The Provider grants the Client a non-exclusive right of remote access to the functionality of the EdoLine Service through a web browser and/or mobile and client applications under the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model on a subscription basis.
The Service is hosted and operated on the server capacity of the Provider or an authorised cloud provider. Installing software on the Client’s equipment is not required and is not provided by default.
Territory of access: by default, without geographical restrictions, unless otherwise provided by a separate agreement or by law.
2. Account and Registration
To use the Service, the Client creates an account, providing accurate information about the organisation and its authorised users.
- The Client is solely responsible for keeping its login and password secure and for all actions performed under its account.
- The Client undertakes to notify the Provider immediately of any unauthorised access to its account.
- The number of active users is limited by the subscription plan the Client has subscribed to.
3. Subscription Plans and Payment
Access to the Service is provided under the selected subscription plan, which determines the number of users, the storage capacity and the available functionality.
- The subscription is paid in advance for each billing period (monthly or annually), unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
- If the subscription is not paid on time, the Provider may suspend access to the Service until the outstanding amount is paid.
- A change of subscription plan (upgrade or downgrade) takes effect from the start of the next billing period, unless otherwise agreed.
- The Provider may change the prices of subscription plans, giving the Client at least 30 days’ notice before the changes take effect.
4. Rights and Obligations of the Client
The Client is granted the right to use the functionality of the Service solely within the paid subscription plan and in line with the purpose of the Service — organising electronic document management.
The Client undertakes:
- to use the Service in compliance with the law and without infringing the rights of third parties;
- to ensure on its own the correctness and accuracy of the data uploaded to the Service;
- not to give access to its account to persons who are not authorised users of the Client;
- not to take any action aimed at disrupting the operation of the Service (overloading it with requests, malicious code, etc.).
5. Restrictions on Use
When using the Service, the Client may not:
- sublicense, resell or otherwise transfer the right to use the Service to third parties without the Provider’s written consent;
- decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the client applications and program code of the Service;
- copy or reproduce the Service or create derivative products based on it;
- use automated tools (bots, parsers) to access the Service by bypassing its standard interface and API.
Breach of these restrictions entails liability under the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service.
6. Service Availability and Maintenance
The Provider uses reasonable commercial efforts to ensure continuous operation of the Service but does not guarantee that it will operate without interruption.
- Scheduled maintenance is carried out with prior notice to the Client, where possible during off-peak hours.
- The Provider is not liable for interruptions in the operation of the Service caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (communication channel failures, actions of third parties, force majeure).
7. Service Updates
The Provider may, at its own discretion and without further agreement with the Client, make changes, updates and improvements to the functionality of the Service, provided that the core functionality available under the Client’s subscription plan is preserved.
Material changes to functionality that affect the way the Client works are announced in advance through the official notification channels.
8. Client Data and Confidentiality
All data uploaded and created by the Client in the Service (documents, company details, correspondence) remain the property of the Client.
- The Provider processes the Client’s data solely for the purpose of providing the Service and ensuring its operation.
- The Provider applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
- After the subscription ends, the Client may export its data within the period set by a separate policy of the Provider, after which the data may be deleted.
9. Technical Support
Technical support for the Service is provided by the Provider, MCHJ EDOC, and includes:
- advising users on how to work with the Service;
- fixing technical faults and errors;
- informing users about new features and updates of the Service.
Support requests are accepted only through the official channels listed in the “Contact Information” section.
10. Liability
The Provider is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or any other consequences arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, except as expressly provided by law or a separate agreement.
The Client bears full responsibility for the content of the data it places in the Service and for compliance with applicable law when processing such data.
11. Term and Termination of Access
- These Terms remain in effect for the entire period during which the Client uses the Service.
- The Client may cancel the subscription at any time by notifying the Provider in the manner set out in the subscription plan.
- The Provider may suspend or terminate the Client’s access to the Service if these Terms are breached or the subscription is not paid.
12. Changes to the Terms
The Provider may amend these Terms unilaterally. The current version is published on the official website of the Service. Continued use of the Service after the changes are published constitutes the Client’s acceptance of the new version of the Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes arising in connection with the use of the Service are settled through negotiation and, failing agreement, in court at the location of the Provider.
